약리학 교실 Department of Pharmacology

약리학은 약물과 생체에 대한 약의 작용을 연구하는 학문으로 질병치료에 있어 기초의학과 임상의학의 연결고리 역할을 한다. 인체전반에 작용하는 약물작용의 일반적인 원리를 이해하고, 나아가 인체 생리, 생화학, 병태와 관련하여 약물이 작용하는 특정 분자 또는 세포내 표적을 학습하도록 한다. 이러한 약리학의 원리를 이해함으로서 임상 전문영역에서 동서의학의 통합개념을 활용한 약물요법에 의해 질병치유에 기여함을 목적으로 한다.

Pharmacology is a subject studying the relationships between the effects and characteristics of herbal medicine, and human body. It is also very closely related to biochemistry and physiology. This subject has its significance in understanding the field of medicine by studying the mechanisms of drugs acting on specific receptors. Furthermore, pharmacology not only helps us understand basic effects of drugs, but also helps in understanding the effects of the drugs to the body. Pharmacology is a field of study which applied herbal medicine to preventing, diagnosing and treating human diseases most reasonably.
